The Royal Oak Ripon Bed & Breakfast

A double room with a nice view of the cathedral, I had requested this in advance.

Enjoyable location in the square, welcoming staff, everything was great. Location: the hotel was not far from Ripon, independent quirky shops, the centre. I appreciated the particularly nice view. All the facilities were good.

Nice Stay with Warm Hospitality

My spacious room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The meals were delicious, particularly the breakfast, a highlight of my stay.

Decent option for a transient visit in Ripon, good value for the price. The meal was good, especially the steak. Watch out for the local events that might make parking tricky.

The renowned grilled cheese was a standout, alongside the inviting atmosphere in the pub. Room noise from traffic was a constant disturbance, diminishing sleep quality. An unwelcoming arrival and disinterested service from staff added to the frustration, while cleanliness issues in the bathroom further detracted from the experience.

We got a very pleasant welcome from the staff and both the evening food n breakfast were really nice. The bed was super comfy, slept like a baby! Location was great too, just around the corner from the cathedral. The atmosphere at the bar was chill n relaxing.

The restaurant served delicious meals, and they were accommodating with food allergies. Parking is convenient, and the location is central. Definitely recommend for a fun and relaxed stay.

This was a well-suited match for a short break in Ripon with high value for money. The service was excellent , and the meals were deliciously prepared, especially dinner. Look for a room away from loud areas for a quieter night's sleep.

And I loved the quick access to the lovely Ripon Canal just 500 meters away and the good dining options just a few steps from my room. Perfect for a single traveler who enjoys leisurely city explorations and vibrant local eateries.
